Adidas has asked us to research and design a new training program for early teens. The current program is too formal and we believe we can improve it by making it more engaging and relevant to this demographic.






Challenges

We looked at where the current user flow in the app’s design has the highest fall off percentage and Surveyed/Interviewed where potential adopters lose Interest to stay connected and sign up with premium services


Solution

Reassess and Improve the app's main user flow for ease of navigation and highlight the highest requested user need of wanting the app to not throw too many workouts per page out of cognitive overload when deciding workouts






Research and data

8 users were surveys and 14 responded online to a survey

  • Users in the original app design reported feeling overwhelmed and lost when presented with too many options at once.
  • Working out can be a daunting task, so we wanted to make it as easy as possible for users to get started.
  • We streamlined the design by reducing the number of options and making it easier to navigate between them.





Features and functions

The updated user flow makes it easier for users to understand different workouts, regardless of their experience level. The new flow also greets users with optional curated workout selection. Which also feature video highlights and provides key information about each workout before watching.
